I thought I would try a thread where someone starts a story and each person adds a bit onto it to continue the story. So here goes...
The story beings one sunny evening underneath the mistletoe. We were there together at last. He looked deep into my eyes and I sighed. My eyes were now closed, as I waited. I could feel his breath so close, then a strange sound entered my world and my eyes shot open. He was gone...
...and I realized the sound was that of a ruler hitting a black board.
There I was standing in the middle of my high school classic literature class wearing only my little brother's superman pj's, which were three sizes to small.
Looking at the class full of snickering teens I hear the teacher call my name. Then she says, "Please... go on with your oral essay comparing the Scarlet Letter to a Superman Comic book. We're all anxious to understand the necessity of this visual aid as well."
It all seemed like such a great idea when I came up with it at 3am this morning. I closed my eyes hoping to go back again to where I was escaping to under that mistletoe.
But no matter how tightly I squeezed them shut, I just couldn't block out the throaty giggle of Samantha Singleton. I'm not sure when I started running, I only noticed when I felt the wind through my hair. I opened my eyes, still running and looked around in bewilderment. I was in the middle of a forest. Then the thought occurred to me - looking around isn't the best idea when you are still running, but it was too late. I heard a crunch and I crumpled, my mind slowly edging into blackness...
"Wake up! Wake up! "Shouted someone and slapt me in my face....
I felt confused and strechted my arms up through the air.
"What happend?"
