Without knowing you Tim, Michael 1 is right, we wouldn't be smooth at selling cars and that is if we did sell.
Nevertheless, ask career svcs for advice on how to interview, or probably, how to research the car place so you sound cool and interested.
Hold the phone, Tim.

If they don't like you for you don't waste your money (or even your time) on them.

Don't buy pizza for a bunch of jerks.
And sure as hell don't buy booze or smokes or anything else age restricted for them.

Does your campus let you drink alcohol in dorms if you are old enough?
My undergraduate (Shepherd College, it is gone with the wind because it is Shepherd University now) let me drink when I was legal.  I liked walking around like an idiot.

My graduate (Marshall University) did not but they let you smoke in the dorms.  Idiots.  My lungs thank you very much.  And I guess you could be busted for public drunkeness walking back to campus from bars like Daddy's Money near campus.

I'm pretty sure the Maryland Rehabilitation Center forbid drinking.  I know they forbid sex.
Tim - my AS husband was a car salesman for many years - he loved it.  He was quiet, reserved, not pushy and very very knowledgeable.  The customers thought he was great, he is passionate about cars and he did extremely well.  He left as they wanted to promote him to manager - he is not good at managing, but he loved the car salesman bit.  If you want to do it you can - feel confident in yourself.  You only have to sell them the cars not be their best friends.  Not everyone likes assertive pushy people and customers are just as easily impressed by quiet and knowledgeable.  Learn about what you have to sell and you will be OK.
Congratulations so much!!
Hope you will sucsess

GuessWho, places can TRY and forbid people from having sex but where there's a will there's a way. Smile

But I guess the state of Maryland thought they'd try and scare us into good behavior anyway at the state Rehabilitation Center, we were warned that that was punishable with expulsion.

You can take that either as "these adults are vulnerable and are better off not having any" or "they are really picking on adults just because they have disabilities (drug addiction being defined as a disability too).

And maybe it did happen when no one was looking, but I was not involved.
