At the risk of sounding ignorant   
Are these titles of movies, tv programs or plays etc? I haven't heard of any of these.

I stopped watching anime long ago, but when I did watch it I was a pretty huge fan of the Slayers series, and also Chobits just a teeny tiny bit. There may have been others that I watched, but I really only remember those two.

Oh yeah, I still like the animated Azumanga Daioh series; I would get the other DVDs if they were available to me. This series is the exception though, and not the rule.

Outlaw Star is the my favorite show and probably one of the best science fiction shows ever made.

I don't wacth as much anime as I'd like too, because I don't know when/where it's on or I can't see it from the beginning.

IGPX - best anime ever, there's no doubt as to it being the highest quality, the only arguement against this show is that you don't like the plot.

I should get into drawing anime.  I never knew about it.  One of my art teachers said that I had a strong graphic style that reminded him of most anime artists.  I would probably enjoy it but it is difficult to get published I suppose.

Yeah. Ghibli is wikkid and so is Esclaflowne. (I got the theme song on CD, somewhere. Transposed the words 'cos it's fun to sing.)

Also got a Ghibli soundtrack, and most of the DVDs.

Definitely. I haven't seen all of it yet, but it does a great job of keeping you on the edge of your seat.
