Too suspicious and convenient. A life long social developmental disorder that suddenly is diagnosed when she is facing a court case. Surely she would gone through extensive psychiatric testing before becoming an astronaut. What a joke.
well...in that situation, the AS may not have been considered a disadvantage,nay,a boon infact!
I do not know where the origins of this site is based but I am in the UK. I am the mother of 4 boys.My youngest 2 have ASD diagnoses my older 2 do not!
That is the UK. We are so far behind and in my older 2 boys childhood it was considered wrong to 'lable' them?
My 24yr old is at present suffering from mental health probs. and my 20yr. old from addiction probs.
Because of these probs I have learned both were diagnosed ASD as young boys by the childhood psychiatric services they were referred to by school (because of their disruptive behaviour).
Why did these people feel able to play around with my sons lives? Has a parent the knowledge of knowing what is wrong with my younger 2 boys has enabled me to help them and access so many things (including this site).If this women was on the AS it would explain so much and I think before we judge we should listen to all the evidence.
