Im sure this Blog is well know to board members here, but taking a look at it it seems to be the work of TROLL. Even the posted comments posted seem to come from insecure loser netizens just looking for someone to kick at. Maybe even a few autophobic aspies.
Im amazed that true aspies still take this bullsh*t seriously.
That's what happens when a troll gets his own website. He does a service to our cause by his ranting, which clearly shows him to be a hateful person.
By show how he's guided by his emotions rather than reason.

I decided to check it out today out of curiosity...looks like, at best, it's to be taken half seriously. (There could be some merit to some of their criticisms of the ND movement and its activists, and the rising "autism" numbers...but meh.) They're also, apparently, avid followers of AFF.

While this blogg did seem a threat in the past--its now lost any semblance of respectability and revealed itself for what it is--a bigoted and prejudice rant.
Surely we have better things to discuss.
Well there is a petition around to get rid of it (a few members would have got a PM from me recently about that - best not to mention it here for the time being).

I'll just say to those who have not actually been in personal receipt of his abuse and slander that it's not something I take with a grain of salt. I mean - what do you do when the idiot maliciously accuses you of sexually pursuing a 16 year old female Aspie? Ignore it?

I say half-seriously as in, "it seems like half pure trollery and half intended to make genuine points."
A lot of the mercury stuff is over the top, and their use of pejoratives is excessive. If you're going to debunk someone, for real, then do it in a way that sounds a bit more for real. Quote studies showing that vaccines are dangerous or evidence of flaws in studies showing that they're not dangerous. Don't dilute your cases against activists with puerile jokes about them; just gather the information, provide the links, and let the readers come to their own conclusions.
If they have any real points, then all the name-calling and extremism and zillions of "anonymous" fake-looking comments are detracting from them...and from anyone who allies or associates with them.

I got a visit from the cops about it just this morning. Some anonymous moron reported it.
Visited by the cops?Interesting. If that causes problems for you, you might have grounds for a lawsuit. Most of the time, even copyright violations and death threats aren't considered a reason for action online. These people are deranged.

It was an anonymous accusation. Are you certain it was the owner of ‘that blogg’? Perhaps you have other enemies.
It doesn't matter who it was who made the report, QD. The source was that blog and it's owner. I could hazard a guess as to who it was who made the report (yes I do have enemies - one in particular springs to mind) but there's no proof.
But the point is that would never have happened if (and I have to name him here) Best had kept his slanderous mouth shut.
Strangefairy is spot on. Yes - that is a cause of action and grounds for a lawsuit.
Oh, and just for the record - I was actually happy to see them (not pissed off as someone observed on the blog of another person). It gave me the chance to explain my side of things and they accepted it. They were pissed off at being given what amounted to a false report.
