today, 37 years ago, Jimi Hendrix passed away in a flat in London. In just twelve days it's DocMartin's birthday.

(I guess there is no connection between you DocMartin & the death of Jimi Hendrix - But his girlfriend at the time was actually from Germany, Monika Dannemann. It was her prescription sleeping pills he took too many of. 7 or 8. Vesperax. I asked a doctor once about them and, oh yes! They were very strong.)
