I've been pondering this and believe that the idea of a continuum with "autism" at one end and "NT" at the other has limited utility. This is not a two dimensional world and speaking of autism or neurotypicalism as if there is only one iteration is just silly. Considering that we are considering a behavioral phenotype, the underlying neurology is not necessarily even similar, for NTs or autistics. More and more I see the everyone is entirely unique and the categories are created and recreated according to the prevailing sentiment of categorizers.
