Batman, I don't know if Henson had AS, but it's amazing how many Aspies love or loved Henson, at least when they were kids. I think there was something about his vision and style and humor that really connected for Aspies. He's like Judy Garland was for the gays.

Hmm, the movie I watched the most of any when I was a kid was Labyrinth--complete obsession. Just something about that movie.
Then my next major obsession was Tim Burton, followed by Stanley Kubrick...
Yes... You already started this thread once before.
Oh, wait, that was Ziyaret.
Look, I really don't give a damn if Henson had AS or not. He's long gone. It's not something that I am going to fret about hour after hour. Now, just to prove a point, typing in "Jim Henson" and "Asperger's Syndrome" in Google pointed me to several discussions on the topic, many of them which are not biased by the AS community.
He does have an opinion of his own. He just got a brand new $299.99 PC and now he thinks he's all h4x0r because he knows how type in a few words into a search engine.
I've owned a successful ISP for several years so I pretty much know how this whole Internet thing works. I know it's proper netiquette (Google that because you are obviously the n00b around here) to use a search engine to find whatever you're looking for first, and then post your question.
You're not calling me a n00b, are you?
This is at least the second time you've taken your "google" dump in the middle of someone else's perfectly legitimate thread.
Batman55 wasn't looking for someone else's discussion on some other site -- he was initiating a discussion with people here. And if you're disgusted by the "bias of the AS community" why are you here? Do you think people with AS know less about AS than some random Internet chat site?
Here's some "proper netiquette" for you, Erich: google "obnoxious little putz" before you look in a mirror.
Too funny. Max and Batman have got to be two of my favorite people on AFF.
If only for their ability to say EXACTLY what was going through my head while reading this thread.I was anxious to discover if Henson had AS. Now I shall have to "google" it to find something I don't already know from Kermit. I find it odd that he's our Judy... only because I always like him so much...
It's TRUE!
I've had so many quiet, shy Aspie students who can go wild recreating old skits from the Muppet Show and Sesame Street. My partner Erich is a Muppet Encyclopedia. And can do the Beeker-mouth thing.
That's either a really impressive party trick, or a really disturbing medical condition... *grins*
