it seems that if one identical twin has Kanner there is ca70% the other one has aswell.

Is that a valid prove for at least kanner not entirely being a result of heritage?
Well I read that there could be traits instead for some, not enough for a dx.
But its still not 100%. It seems to be estimated that autism is 90% genetic.
Be careful here! Twins need not be "identical" and even those who seem to be, can have different geneology!
In Shadow Syndromes, the authors site a study in which the identical twins of those with kanner's who had NOT been diagnosed with autism were studied. All were shown to have numerous autistic traits, and most were then diagnosed aspergers.
One thing to keep in mind is that autism is not always caused by genes. It can also be caused by viral infections and brain damage during infancy.
one assumes that such cases would differ slightly in manifestation from classical autism..

BTW hello all im back from slaying the evil dragon of the K8T800/VT8237 south bridge PATA IDE bus!
With identical twins, there seems to be a high chance of both being affected by autism but it doesn't always manifest in the same ways and one is usually a bit more severely affected than the other.
