I agree, god doesnt exist, either that or he just hates me and a few certain groups of people more.
God is everything you can imagine. Good and bad he created. Bad defines good as dark defines light. Without it you would not see the beauty of the stars. Our purpose is to give life to all that God is. we want to break that up in to good and bad, but really it is about experiencing what is known. Good and bad is irrelevant in the bigger picture.

My god the quality of religious debate has gone downhill. Our "friend" crud420 is now banned as he appears to be a troll based on other threads. Please don't feed the troll. Meanwhile, if anyone wants a decent religious debate i'm always up for one

I used to greatly enjoy religious debates as a hobby of sorts - not of the preachy kind though. I've noticed many christians love to engage in religious debates believing that they will convert me, and I greatly enjoy refuting them. I don't do it so much these days of course but used to spend hours inviting theists of all varieties to join me in a debate. I even "trained" a few fellow atheists in the art of debate and showed them how to apply scientfic reasoning and detect logical fallacy.
The main counteragument of peope who say "God doesn't exist" is "Evil exists". But there are at least two possible counter-arguments to it:
1) God is good, but he gave everything a free will. If there was not evil, thare would be no free will.
2) Does cold exist? NO, it's abscence of warm. When there is no warm, we call it "cold". Does dark exist? NO, it is the abscence of light. We call the places where there is no light "dark places". Does evil exist? NO. Evil is the abscence of God. God is not omnipresent as many religions teach. God is kind of an energy, which always changes its ways. When this energy isn't present somewhere, things which we call "evil" happen.
You may be a sceptic Max, but you are a sweet sceptic.
